When will the Samsung galaxy S8, S8+, S9, S9+ receive a chance to do one ui 2.0 beta?

I would expect the Galaxy S9 series to get it as it was just launched last year. the Galaxy S8 series is less likely to get Android 10 though it would be a good touch for Samsung as Google had extended the 2016 Pixel to getting it so why not a 2017 Samsung.

I would be hopeful but be realistic that it might not get it because samsung is well known for not having the best software updates

Nope, the Galaxy S8, S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 were launched with Android 7.0. Since Samsung has always offered only 2 major updates to its flagship phones, it means the S8 won't get Android 10.
