QuestionsJust reset the data again and it's back to normal. But it was working fine for a few days since the last force close issue last week Wednesday.
The glitches come and go, and data and cache wipes tend to clear it up. It it shouldn't be happening this frequently.

QuestionsThere's multiple issues with the Beta and the Samsung native Messages app. Everyone seems to have a different one, but this seems to be th emost common.
Make sure to report it on the beta app home page.
Also, other messaging apps like Textra and Android Messages don't have issue. So feel free to switch to a different texting app a whole.
