New texting issues. Man the ball was dropped.

After resolving the ability to switch to a third party texting app.

After resolvimg the Messages black screen of death that is followed by forced close.

Now, when I send a the first text on Messages it goes through to my recipient. The second and follow up texts will not go through. I hit send, the text dissappears, and nothing happens.

Reboot the phone, the first text works, follow ups don't.

It works fine for me. I formerly used Google Messages but switched back to Samsung for the beta and so far no problems at all.

I hear you. It's crazy because it works fine for a while, then a glitch comes out of no where.

Just reset the data again and it's back to normal. But it was working fine for a few days since the last force close issue last week Wednesday.

The glitches come and go, and data and cache wipes tend to clear it up. It it shouldn't be happening this frequently.

I can't get the Samsung message to work. Keeps force closing the 3rd party works better for me

You have to wipe cache and data on the Messages app. Back up your texts on Smart Switch first.

There's multiple issues with the Beta and the Samsung native Messages app. Everyone seems to have a different one, but this seems to be th emost common.

Make sure to report it on the beta app home page.

Also, other messaging apps like Textra and Android Messages don't have issue. So feel free to switch to a different texting app a whole.

I kept using Google Messages after installing the beta and have had zero issues. It's probably good I didn't switch back to Samsung's native app which I had been considering.
