Photos in Gallery desaturated?

Whenever I go into the Samsung gallery app, it instantly becomes desaturated like the phone display is in natural mode. When existing the app, the display becomes vivid again. This is also noticable when viewing a photo in the gallery and then going into multitask window. You can see how the photo becomes saturated again but going into the app becomes desaturated. Wondering if anyone else faces the same issue.

This is literally the same for me. I thought the camera was the problem but its actually the gallery. if I view my gallery in a text when trying to message someone I can view the photos as I took them but in the gallery they look super washed out. even a screenshot photo of the gallery looks better then the gallery itself.

Please try below steps:

Settings > Apps > "Show system apps" in the top right corner,

  1. Select "Media Storage" > Storage > Clear data
  2. Select "Sec Media Storage" > Storage > Clear data
