why cant I enable dark mode for gmail and google news??

I have the new android 10 beta and still cant get dark mode for gmail and google news,but all my other google apps are in dark mode.

it's rolling out via server side from Google and has nothing to do with with Samsung or anybody else, when Google decides to turn the switch on for your account you will have it, I don't have it yet either so yeah

I dont know if this will help, but I didn't have it either today and I know that with this Beta it's supposed to include the Andriod 10. I seen a tip earlier from a fellow beta tester that advised to clear the cache in the Gmail app and it enabled the dark mode. so, I tried it myself and turned dark mode on in setting for my entire phone and tada dark mode for gmail.

I did The "Stop App and Clear Cache" suggestion, Last Night, but it did not work at that point (re.Gmail switching to Dark Mode). I've seen Several Posts citing its a "Google Timing" Thing as to "When" they Enable your Gmail to display in Dark Mode. I received the Beta Android 10 UI 2.0 Update on the 14th and Just Moments ago, my Gmail is Now displaying in Dark Mode. 😎

factory reset dont back up your settings and then update all the apps after you restore them all. hope this helps

Factory reset IS NOT REQUIRED.

Settings -> Apps -> Gmail -> Force stop, then Storage-> Clear cache

Fire up Gmail ... if Dark mode is not enabled , it's "not your turn" yet ... be patient ... it's a server side enablement.

I got it about 4 days ago and didn't do anything to force it - just be patient. I haven't received the dark mode for assistant yet tho
