It happened with me as well with 1.0 the beta moved some files for graphics which makes the game unplayable. like the users above said, uninstall and reinstall.
try uninstalling and reinstalling I never tried playing the game until this beta update and mine seems to work fine and in fact is downloading a Halloween patch as we speak so far the only game that I have found has not been able to work with Damon PS2 Pro which just loads up a complete black screen I have removed all the files for it I have clear the cache clear the data uninstalled and reinstalled and to no avail. Won't work but it seems as if every game does
