On March 2, 2024, at midnight: My friend's Galaxy S23 was possibly stolen, then found on the 2nd Penang bridge using Samsung SmartThings Find.

Long story short, we were celebrating a friend's birthday in Penang. When we arrived at the hotel, the birthday girl noticed her Galaxy S23 was missing. She couldn't recall anything while on the way back.
She last remembered having her phone at the birthday celebration venue. Fortunately, she had already set up her Samsung Account so I immediately went to the Samsung SmartThings Find website, logged in with her email, and done the steps as followed :
1. Locked the device and left a note with a phone number.
2. Extended the battery life to ensure the phone's battery would last longer.
3. Tracked the location.
After a careful tracking, we observed the device was at the Penang 2nd bridge with movement (possibly being carried by the thief) before it remained stationary. We turned back and found the Galaxy S23 on the roadside.
The device was found intact, with no cracked screen or scratched camera lens, only some scratches on the casing and a slightly scratched front frame from the impact as if it was thrown away.
All in all, the birthday girl should be grateful as she was fortunate to recover her phone.

Additional info:
- The phone couldn't be turned off after it was lost because a security code is needed to power it off.
- "Offline Finding" was enabled in settings so the phone could be tracked even without an internet connection.
