I strongly suggest Samsung Pay to improve their list of supported card to CIMB Bank Debit Mastercard.

BTW, samsunh pay has credit card application is there. you can get extra point from them also.

This isn't Samsung Pay issue.. CIMB just couldn't be bothered as the bank wants their CIMB Debit card customers to use their proprietary app (at the time). I contacted CIMB long time ago and that was what they responded.

I believe what Nazrae said is accurate. From the start I knew something was up, been more than a few years, CIMB Debit isn't supported.

It's CIMB being the culprit here. Not Samsung Pay. Only way is to complain lor. The more complains, the better. Nobody cares about their stupid CIMB app. We want mobile paywave like every other countries.

This is why Malaysia still feels like a third world country. Frigging stop with these apps **bleep** lah. People want Samsung Pay, Apple Pay & G Pay. Luckily Malaysia has Samsung Pay

It's 2022 now, and that problem still persists? This made me wanted to apply for Maybank back in 2020, but I couldn't do that because of that accursed COVID-19 pandemic.

Yes, the issue not solved yet. You can apply for Maybank account opening via online as I know, but still need go to nearest branch for biometric verification.
