How to activate Samsung Pay if your bank card is not supported

If your bank card is not supported by Samsung Pay, try signing up for Maybank MAE. It's like BigPay without a physical card, but you get a digital Visa card that you can top up with your bank card.

My debit card is under HSBC and I managed to setup Samsung Pay via Maybank MAE easily! 

For reference, here's the list of cards that are supported as of Nov 2019

yeah! but try Maybank MAE, you can link your CIMB debit card to it, and maybank will issue you a digital visa debit card that you can use for Samsung Pay!

How to link with my PB Card? I had a Mae Acc

ok with your MAE account, you need to tap money in and top up with your PB card to add funds.

at the top right corner of the screen got a card symbol, that is your digital Visa maybank card. you need to set up pin and get the CVV code.

then in Samsung pay, add in your MAE visa card (not the PB card), and you need to verify via SMS. after that should be all set!
