Samsung Wallet/PayHi everyone,
I’m having a strange issue with Samsung Wallet when trying to add multiple American Express cards.
My situation:
I currently have three different Amex cards:
Amex Platinum
Amex Delta Gold
Amex Hilton (white card)
All three cards are completely separate accounts, but they coincidentally all end in the same last four digits: 1001.
The problem:
I was able to successfully add one of the cards, but when I try to add the other two, Samsung Wallet shows an error saying the card is already added / previously registered, even though they are different physical cards and different accounts.
There is no duplicate card visible in my Wallet — it just won’t let me add the others.
What I’ve already tried:
Restarting the device
Clearing Samsung Wallet cache/data
Removing and re-adding the first card
Checking on another Samsung device
But the same error appears each time.
My question:
Has anyone else experienced this issue with multiple Amex cards that share the same last four digits? Is this a known limitation or token conflict in Samsung Wallet?
Do I need Samsung or Amex to reset the token bindings on the backend?
Any help, escalation, or guidance would be appreciated — I really need to add all three cards.
Thanks in advance!

Samsung Wallet/PayThanks for highlighting, however I believe you might be in the wrong forum - this is the Malaysian forum.
You will have to connect with your local Samsung community/service centres to assist you further 😊
P.S. on another note, yes there is usually a limitation of tokens issued by each financial institution.
