contacts/spam protection for calls

I think it would be really nice if the contacts got an update of some sort. I think it would be nice if you could add in a video call button kinda like the Google contacts does (example below) and even a Samsung pay option would be super convenient. As for the phone app I'd love to see a spam feature to help combat some of the spam calls people receive. They can be really annoying so it'd be great if you guys even partnered with Google or phone companies to help this issue. Anybody agree?? Even in messages would be helpful. I personally use Google messages and it has spam protection and it won't even let me get the spam text which is so nice. Please please adopt spam protection

Maybe it's carrier specific but the phone app already has that partnered with Hiya, the same as AT&T and T-Mobile.

it must be then because I have sprint and don't have that. I did download that app that to see how it works before I pay 2.99 a month for sprints version

My phone has that option and I use Verizon. It has never blocked a call for me, and I have to let it sit and ring a couple of times before it tells me if the call is suspected to be scam/spam

Be aware that it won't block many calls. Most of those telemarketer calls are from spoofed numbers that can't be blocked because they change on every call.
