It's no secret that Samsung has the best displays and display tech out there, and the display in the S10 and Note10 is no exception.

Here's the gist: samsung displays have been in many smartphones and brands all over the industry, from apple to oneplus. However, samsung obviously reserves the best of the best for themselves, which is great. I propose that we should be able to fine tune and calibrate our phone displays with a whole lot of options. An example is oneplus, they allow you to use a variety of preset color profiles and even let you make your own, allowing for a display that works for everyone. Samsung only allows us to change between vivid and the normal color profiles, along with little tuning allowed with the rgb balancer. Oneplus has options such as DCI-P3, Srgb, AdobeRgb, etc.

It would be absolutely awesome if we can do this. This will allow for people to tune their displays to their liking and really expose the true potential of Samsung's displays.

We technically do have these settings as your phone is set to DCI-P3 out of the box. In "vivid" mode, you can use Adobe RGB to calibrate your display (but if you don't tweak it in vivid mode it stays in DCI-P3, and if you go into developer settings you can find use "picture color mode" and in the bottom of it it says sRGB. So we can switch the things around.
