Hey Samsung....

I have a suggestion to post where on messages i think we should have Message Effects like IOS does when they send messages to eachother. Also we should have it to where we can hold a message to like it or dislike it just to make messaging more better and fun.

Like where you can tap and hold the send button to send an effect to the person who we are messaging. And when someone replies to you, you can like the message by holding it and pressing like or dislike.

Just like this.... BUT MAYBE AN ANDROID VERSION?

It would only make sense and I hope they implement this sort of feature along the way why not especially since them and Apple are competitors it would make it all the more worthwhile

samsung would have to spend money on a server and make messages server based. that means they will spend more money and I doubt samsung would spend money on a messaging service for us users.

that has nothing to do with samsung. it's the way your carrier sends and receives sms/mms

Unfortunately as Android users, we're stuck with SMS and RCS if you're lucky. Apple can accomplish this because they control everything. Samsung would have to invest a lot into development and back end infrastructure, but they'll never do it. Google is pushing RCS and while it's leaps and bounds better than standard SMS text messaging, it will never be as robust as iMessage. All the carriers have to buy into it. They're slowly coming around but most carriers have their own version of it, but it only works if you're using their messaging app to message other people on the same carrier.

Android and iOS have their pros and cons. IMO this is a pretty big con for Android and a pretty big pro for iOS. But iMessage and FaceTime are the only things I miss from when I used iPhones.

no. please dont turn our phones into iPhones. I hate that stupid feature allowing you to "like" a message someone sent you. like it's an online post? you cant just reply back with an actual message? how lazy are people getting?
