It should be easier and quicker tomopen the recent menu. Instead of having Google assistant in both corners and swiping up from the corner to activate assistant, let one corner be used to open to recent menu.
Or switch the gesture for Google assistant and make the other the recents menu ( swipe up and hold for Google assistant)
