Tap to Home while on No Recently Used Apps screen

In Android 8, Samsung Experience 9,  if I selected the Recent Apps button, and there are no recent apps, the No Recently Used Apps screen is displayed.

I could then tap [anywhere] on the screen and the Home Screen would be displayed. 

Would be nice to have this functionality back (so we don't have to use the Home button)

EDIT:  or,  if no recent apps, simply display the Home screen.

if there's no apps that can be displayed, it shouldn't let u go to that screen in the first place. it should bump you back out like I iPhone

Agreed. It's been eons since I had an iPhone, so can't compare, but that solution makes more sense. Updated my orig post.
