  • It would be nice if our stock widgets for the home screen can autodark mode. My apps like calendar and mail can autodark mode but when I go to the home screen and see the widgets, they're always bright and don't adjust to dark mode.
  • It would also be great if Samsung made all apps turn auto dark according to system dark mode
  • Most samsung stock apps have dark mode automatically, which is awesome. But Samsung health,Smartthings, shop Samsung, Samsung pay, and Penup are the only 5 apps that don't have dark mode. Please implement dark mode on those 5 apps, they're the last ones.
  • For the tab s6, please implement video additions for Samsung notes, or just in general for Samsung notes. It would help a lot for productivity. You have already implemented audio recordings and audio files and images,.so you're one step closer. You could also add calendar events and reminders on Samsung notes easily to work seamlessly together, since they're your stock apps, you can do whatever you want with them.
  • Now that you have implemented screen record on the quick panel, which is awesome, and works amazing! It even works when recording with the front facing camera which is golden! It would be perfect if you just add an additional toggle for voice recordings to make it seamless and simple for everyone. You already made your own stock voice recording app on One UI, so please implement that voice Recorder toggle on the quick panel so that everything is simple, and easy to use.
  • Please Samsung, we need these things. This is a beta, so you can work on this and succeed, we trust you since you eliminated the horror of touch wiz

Widgets do have autodark mode, just delete and place them back, you'll see an option for it within the settings. Alternatively, if you're using the stock launcher, hold down on the widget and tap on widget settings. Currently, the Clock, Email, Internet, and Weather apps support this feature.

As for turning all apps into dark mode, within the developer settings, you'll see a "Force Dark mode" toggle under "Hardware accelerated rendering." I believe this is an Android 10 feature so not all apps will be turned into dark mode but Snapchat does and Facebook does as well even though it's not applied correctly. it's a hit or miss feature.
To turn on developer settings if you can't find it:
Settings > About phone > Software information > Build number. Repeatedly tap on the build number and it'll then be shown at the bottom of the main Settings menu.

Oh. just noticed. You were right. It does work for the mail widgets, but not for the calendar widgets, so it would be nice to see that
