did you keep your phone in cold places while updating? to prevent device get a green line while updating better keep the phone on front of something that can reduce the device heat.

Miss, you should have know that Amoled screen that samsung use on their devices is sensitive to heat. Even the highest brightness for too long can cause green line / pink line. For your problem, since you keep your devices inside your pocket the device heating while updating and it causes screen to burn ^^. Hope this help you. Plus you may refer to your nearby Samsung Experience Store to claim Samsung Care+ if you have any.

Wow seriously?! The user is to be blamed because unable to keep the phone cold while upgrade is on going?

Has Samsung written that in any user manual? Or has they put that on their ads that their phone required extra cooling while update is taking place?

No this is not the phone I will buy if I knew it before buying 🙄

Agree. I am speechless with some user's comment as well. Some Samsung dog*** will lick Samsung's ball for blaming the user unable to keep the phone cool while updating. Hello, if the heat is the problem, it is basically a design defect from Samsung, and the screen may also fail from the heat of continuous usage, but why the hell are the users to be blamed? So the users buy the phone for decoration/flexing? Plus, users get the green line after 2-3 weeks from the update done.
