Hello.

Similar problem. The update came and completely turned off the watch. The buttons do not respond when turned on. When the watch is on a branded charging device, the charging light is constantly on, although the watch was fully charged.

Galaxy watch 4 Classic

What to do with it now?

Hi, Kubasov-vova.

So I'm aware that you are living in Republic of Modova, this is the contact number of Samsung Careline you can reach to know the Samsung Authorised Centre near you :

0-800-614-40

This is most probably due to software issue. If your Galaxy Watch4 is still under warranty, you can claim it.Screenshot_20221128-180713_Samsung Members.jpg

Excuse me, what does "If your Galaxy Watch4 is still under warranty, you can claim it" mean?..

If the software that was officially sent out by Samsung killed my device and Samsung admitted this problem, what kind of warranty can we talk about?

My watch was purchased in October 2021 and the warranty has expired. Are you saying that for the damage to my watch from the original software, I should take into account the warranty period of my watch? The watch must be replaced or repaired by Samsung at Samsung's expense without any terms or conditions. Isn't that right?

I've never had this kind of experience so far when using my Galaxy Watch since they are all working fine even after software updates.

Try call the Samsung Service Centre for them to advice you further since the policy might be differ from country to country.

Dear Nazzzz,
I'm sorry, how can Samsung's policy differ from region to region if the problem that has arisen is due to official software from Samsung? Surely you have heard about the experience when, due to an error in the design of a car, all cars of this series are recalled to the factory, regardless of which market this car was sold to. In this case, the analogy is direct, namely, an official update from Samsung came this morning and it killed my watch. Samsung has acknowledged this issue as an update and has apologized.

But apart from an apology, need to fix this problem without any conditions. This is the responsibility of Samsung, since this problem was provoked by new software. I will add, if you do not have this problem, this does not mean that it cannot be. You can turn to the Internet and you will find out that this problem is not my personal, but global.

I have a question for you: how can I contact the official representatives of Samsung for clarification and guarantees that I am entitled to free repair or replacement of my Galaxy watch 4 Classic due to malware from Samsung? This comment should not be from a representative of the country in which I live, but from a factory. Thank you in advance for a link or an indication of the address where I should write.

I will add, of course, I called the Samsung service center in Georgia, where I live and the watch was bought. They invited me to the office, but first they asked if the warranty on my watch had expired. The warranty has expired in October 2022, so when I arrive at the Samsung service center, I should have ironclad arguments that I am right that this is an out-of-warranty issue and should be completely fixed at Samsung's expense.

Hi. You can try a factory reset.

Press and hold both buttons.. wait for the screen to go off.. keep holding it.. until samsung logo with the small words rebooting appears.

Release buttons, and quickly press the top button 3 times.

The watch will now reboot into a special menu. Choose recovery.

Then the watch will boot into recovery. Select factory reset.

This will factory reset the watch. After this is done, repair it with your phone.

If the damage is software, this should fix it.
