Your phone’s Secure Wi-Fi feature lets you browse the internet safely, even when you’re using unsecured, public Wi-Fi networks. It offers protection by encrypting internet traffic and blocking tracking apps.

Secure Wi-Fi provides a certain amount of protection free of charge every month to help protect your activity. (Android™ 12 higher 1024MB / Android™ 11 lower 250MB)

How to enable Secure Wi-Fi

Step 1. Go to Settings > Security and privacy > More security settings > Secure Wi-Fi.

Step 2. Read the T&Cs and tap Continue.

Step 3. Grant the respestive permissions required by tapping Continue.

Turn on protection

Tap on the Protect button on the Secure Wi-Fi page to turn on protection. You can also toggle 'Auto protect Wi-Fi' on to get protection whenever you connect to insecure or public networks.

For more information, visit 'How to Use Secure Wi-Fi'.

I dont understand if this works on my 2nd profile on the same device; I can't find the option to turn on Wifi-protect in my 2nd account although in my first account the function is activated. Does this mean that also my 2nd account is protected or not? Thanks
