Unlock fingerprint

Has anyone had a problem unlocking their phone with fingerprint after using the screen protector? It was just a plain screen protector.

The screen had a hard time detecting my fingers. And I need to press harder. Any solution to this problem?

re register your fingerprint

Re-register your finger print. And also avoid using the kind of protector which only stick at the side.

i use cheap screen protector tempered glass (no brand, clear), my phone is A series so i have Optical fingerprint scanner, i can use the fingerprint feature w/o any problem, no need to press harder, i just need to stick my fingerprint to the scanner

You have to re-scan your fingerprints after fitting a screen protector. This is in the instructions of the Ugreen screen protector I bought for my S25 Ultra.

Thanks for the responses. I did reregister a few times but, it didn't fix the problem. I guess I need to change the screen protector.
