Samsung has already updated dozens of Galaxy smartphones and tablets to Android 11. Last month, the company updated a whopping 350 devices (including variants) with new software releases. Now, it is updating the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) with S Pen to the latest public version of Android.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) with S Pen has started getting a new software update in Chile and the Philippines. The new software, which has firmware version P205DXU5CUE3, brings Android 11 along with One UI Core 3.1. The new software includes a refreshed UI design, chat bubbles, one-time permissions, auto permissions reset, improved stock apps, improved versions of Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard, a better design for the Device Care page, and improved Digital Wellbeing and Parental Controls.

Why is the Hong Kong version still running Android 9 pie even in 2022. 😭. Installing a different region firmware may brick my tab so now I have to keep using it that way.
