Recently, I bought the Tab A11 8/128GB variant and am happy with its performance so far. I mainly use it for Netflix, reading and light gaming. The G99 processor is capable of gaming fairly well, but the problem is that I experience ghost touch / multi-touch issues when navigating in-game, especially in the open world. It will only respond to one side (movement) and get stuck at the other side (camera), so it won't work well.

I hope Samsung will release a fix soon, and hopefully it is software-related only.
I wouldn't recommend buying the Tab A11 for now if you plan to do light gaming.
Some people found a temporary fix, but it's not an ideal improvement. One way is to use the 3.5mm jack while gaming. Issues still occur, but not as badly as without wired earphones/headphones.
Please fix it, Samsung!

...and please don't mention getting the S series if I'll be using it for gaming, because the reason I'm getting the A series is that it is an 8-inch tablet, and the Tab A11 is at the top among other 8-inch tablets for this price range, with extended years of support.
