Suggestion for tablet

Hey guys, I've this dilemma on wether to get the s9 Ultra,s9 + or the s8 Ultra. As currently, I've using the a7 lite as free gift from Harvey Norman upon purchasing the s23+. It's laggy and really ain't much for me to do work on it as I want something as compatible as what a laptop could do. For those tech save out there, do you mind on giving some tips/suggestions it's really much appreciated.

The first thing you should look at is your own budget of course. And the 2nd thing is on whether how much and how often you gonna use it.

If you use the tablet most of the time and budget is not your concern, tab S9 is the best choice. Or else tab S8.

To be honest, tab S9 does not come with a huge upgrade compare to tab S8. If you plan to use it for social media, video and some gaming, tab S8 still the best to go. The most important is the features from One UI. And the best thing is both devices is supported every single new features and are running well too. Tab S8 in 2023 or even in 2024 or longer, is still consider a great device.

Like I said, if money is not your concern, go for S9 else S8.

Always shop smart. Look for discount. In the end, make sure you own the tablet and not the tablet who own you. Don't buy something if you just want it to look good.

Hey,thanks for advice . I want a newer tab so I can have something light to carry and have somewhat does a decent job for a tab for designing, check sales,add products,product research and etc. That's what I was thinking of buying an s8 Ultra as not much of difference between the s9

To be fair, if you are a student, or you work in a corporate with Samsung corporate account, the S9 ultra is the only option to go. Because pricing wise it rly isn't too different with the discounts.

some differences of Tab S9 series over the Tab S8 series are the design on camera department, water resistant capability, +1 software update, etc.

if you're on a corporate life, get an S9 Ultra - Samsung DeX on a huge screen is the best

if you're a student, S9+ is sufficient - the screen size is just nice for notetaking

I'm not much of a corporate job but my job still does require me to do so work on the laptop but prefer something light to carry ard

If the software applications used are more suitable on a laptop, a tablet can never replace it esp for heavy work. Light work is suitable to use a tablet.
The good news is there are a lot of lighter laptop nowadays.

Yeah it's true mostly what I do on my phone are light work and they heavy duty things I do at my PC but mostly the work I do usually easily operatable on my phone.

Hence why I want to opt for a tab which have a wider screen,easier to carry around etc. I was thinking the xiaomi pad 6 which I see on reviews it's quite good tbh but unsure if it can use samsung dex or something familiar like that
