Hello! Does your tablet or laptop show any error message?

Corporate laptop usually have group policies that prevent this. I also cannot project my work laptop screen wirelessly as well.

hey guys, thanks for the responses.
the tablet doesnt show any error message. however, my laptop could detect, but not connect. it just states connection fail. i begin to wonder if it is due to VPN being connected - as some mentioned that it has to be on the same wifi-network.

Ahhh. Yes some forums have highlighted the need for both your laptop and your tablet to be on the same wifi network in order for the second screen to work.

Another possible reason, as highlighted in the link above, is that the laptop model simply does not support the second screen function. This was the case for my old 2017 Acer laptop too. No error message, the second screen function just refuses to work.

Otherwise, as Alan mentioned in his comment, it could be the limitations or restrictions your workplace has implemented in your work laptop as well!

I can't connect the 2nd screen too. Also, there is no notification on my Asus Vivobook laptop nor my Samsung Tab S7FE.

Then I restart both of my devices and it worked! Try it, maybe it'll work on you too😊
