Vietnam public holiday appears in Calendar when I bought Tab A 8.0

Last week I bought Samsung Tab A (8.0, 2019) from a booth in Digital Mall, Seksyen 14 Petaling Jaya. I realised that the calendar in the tablet have Malaysia and even Vietnam public public holidays. I know I can choose not to include the Vietnam public holidays but the option is still listed there. I am surprised why Vietnamese calendar is included as option loaded in the tablet itself when I just on the calendar for the first time. When I asked the shop via Facebook, they are unsure too. Can I ask you guys here, is this normal for tablets sold in Malaysia market? Considering Vietnam is a little far from Malaysia. And by the way, I have Google calendar in my mobile phone which has no Vietnam. calendar settings. The tabket I just bought has the MCMC logo under regulatory information in the settings though.

All Malaysia Samsung stuff are made in Vietnam, including the Southeast asia, but its still kinda weird because usually the products are optimized for Malaysia, so you better check with the store

Yes, did check with the retailer and they said its Malaysia original set. But I'm afraid there is hanky panky involved.

Hmm, this sounds like a scam...🤔 Could you try resetting the tablet and choose region as Malaysia??

How to do resetting please,? I have checked settings but couldn't find any.

You can go to search box type 'reset'

Another weird thing I saw was the samsung account information. When I look into devices listed, it listed another recent device signed-in in 2016 under the device trelte I suppose. And it has the option to sign off. Is this suspicious or normal??

I can confirm the seller sold you a Vietnam model and someone probably already used it before

But how about the MCMC logo in my tablet?? And the retailer registered for warranty and I have received sms from Samsung saying that my tablet is now under warranty with the matched IMEI. I have googled the word Trelte and it has something to do with Samsung galaxy note 4, attached screenshot here. I did used a Note 4 before bought in 2015 I think and the last login in Samsung account in my new tablet was 2016, so maybe it made sense??

I think someone already activated the warranty before you bought it, and please check settings with the images i attached
