TabletsHello 蔡徐坤. I am Nantakkumar, from Samsung.
We would like to thank you for taking some of your valuable time to check with us. We wish to highlight that firmware upgrades are released gradually only after passing several technical tests and will be released batch by batch. We seek your patience and kind understanding in this matter.
Once it is ready for your device, you will be prompted to perform the updates on your device or you can easily check and upgrade your device to the latest software if available by following the steps below:
Before you download:
* Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Wireless network connection.
* Do ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.
- From the Home screen, go to Menu
- Select Setting
- Select About device
- Select Software updates
- Check for Updates.
- If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of the software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
Alternatively, you may upgrade the software using Samsung Smart Switch. Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Download Samsung Smart Switch on your PC via this link given below
https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/smart-switch
Step 2: Please connect your phone to PC via a USB cable and open Smart Switch app. It should take a few moments to look for your phone, and then automatically connect. If you’re using a secured lock screen, you’ll need to unlock the device before Smart Switch can connect.
Step 3: After the connection is established and your phone is unlocked, Smart Switch lets you know if there’s an update available. If there’s something to install, click the “Update” button.
Step 4: A dialog box pops up, letting you know that it’s going to update your phone to the latest version. Click “Continue” to get started.
Step 5: Another window pops up with some general warning and notes. Click “All Confirmed” to continue.
Step 6: The download should start immediately. Depending on the size of the update file and your internet connection, this could take a bit.
Step 7: When it’s finished downloading, the software update begins. If you’re using a Windows PC, you may have to grant UAC access here before it will install.
Step 8: When it’s totally finished, a pop up lets you know that the update is complete, and that you need to disconnect and reconnect the cable.
Hope this can help you.
Thank you.
