I HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE LAST 2 BETAS, AND I CAN SAY THAT THE OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF ERRORS PEOPLE ARE GETTING AND REPORTING HERE (90%) WILL GO AWAY AFTER A FACTORY RESET.

*After ANY major system upgrade, a reset is almost a common sense thing to do.  I'll factory reset again after the final release as well.

*I was back up and running with all my apps reinstalled after only 20 mins from a reset.  A cache wipe alone will NOT always work.

-Have a nice day 🍁

Call Samsung. did you read any of the information in the beta section? It will tell you how to do that.

Same as OP, I have participated in the past betas since the Android Marshmallow beta. Please, if you're having errors, do not be afraid to try factory resetting. Of course, try a cache data wipe first, but if that doesn't fix it, factory reset!!! It will 99.999999% fix your issues. Backup all your data via smart switch mobile and make sure it saves to your sd card instead of internal storage. I've done it this way since the Oreo beta and have never had any issues. If you have content in your secure folder, you will need to back that up separately by either removing the content from secure folder or backing up to your samsung account within secure folder.

If I use smart switch are there any things I should uncheck from the backup/restore? Will it also restore my app settings, app login status, fingerprints, etc? If not, that's a good hour or two to put everything back.

After ANY major OS update, I always make it a point to do a factory reset. Anytime you add new core files to an old OS, things can get lost in the shuffle and overwriting process, which, like the OP says, will 99.999999999% of the time, resolve any issues. Plus, it makes it feel like a brand new phone... Samsung has gotten EXTREMELY Good with the backup and restore process, so you dont lose call logs, messages, alarms, and settings. I haven't done this with the beta yet, because I've found no issues on my T-Mo galaxy S10+, and because this is my first beta, so I didn't know if I would mess up future beta releases, but all in all.... If you have issues, and want to feel like your phone is BRAND NEW, do a factory reset...
Tips
I agree 👍🏻 with you 💯%. I have the S10+ too but was having a few issues so I went ahead and did a factory reset and I do a Wipe Cache Partition at least once a day. It keeps your phone working faster if you do it at least once a day and it takes like 1 to 2 minutes at the most.

Most people jump on a beta wagon and have no clue what they're doing.
