Its a server side switch, nothing you can do in the app itself. If it doesn't show up for you, just be patient if you have dark mode already enabled.

Can you give us a better idea of how to enable it? I'm trying to make sense out of your "steps" but what you say to click and where does not exist.

*edit* so it's a server side switch and nothing related to Samsung or the beta. Will just have to wait for Google to push it to your account.
