Tips
I have been doing software betas for many, many years. In the beta comment threads there are always two common themes. Performance & battery life.
In any beta of this scale the developers will have additional debug code running to allow them to receive device and app telemetry in order to refine the software. This will have an impact on battery life and performance. This code will be removed when the software is RTM'd.
With every update flush the system cache to help.
There will also be issues with 3rd party apps that are not optimized for the new OS. Please make sure to provide those developers with feedback so that they can improve their code to work with the new OS. Invariably, there will be new and deprecated APIs that need to be accounted for.
Running betas carries risk, but is also useful to help everyone receive a good end product. Please provide feedback.

Tips
I think the majority of people know this. I find it rather ridiculous that so many people think it's some sort of problem that testers do exactly what this app/platform is intended to do aside from reporting issues to Samsung. And that is discussing said issues with each other, and sometimes finding solutions for each other. Yet there is a large amount of people who feel the need to criticize those who are discussing the issues! Granted, there doesn't need to be 10+ posts discussing the same thing over and over. But there is also no need for those who feel superior for some reason to remind everyone who's discussing the issues that this is beta and there's issues. We didn't forget that.

I disagree on one thing, if you're having no problems then don't wipe the cache. It's done with an update anyway.
