Forcing RCS Messaging on our phones

Didn't see any of the recent posts about this, and search didn't show up any posts about this. But here you guys go. 

 I used these following steps to force RCS through Google to work on my phone. Works great and I'm just trying to spread the word. 😁👍🏻

it doesn't show me when someone reads my message, I can see that it's delivered and see when they are typing though.

I don't have that issue, might wanna try the setup all over again by deleting Messages data.

yeah I've seen this on every Android site. I prefer the Samsung messages app over the Android messages app so I haven't done it. is it any good?

just curious what you like better about Samsung Messages vs Google Messages? I keep trying to use SM but the voice recognition software is a deal breaker for me to leave AM.

Google messages is very basic in terms of features with Samsung messages. but does not support RCS cross platform as of yet. they visually look similar also. forth a try even if you don't force RCS through Google. if your carrier supports RCS already, Google messages with carrier services should recognize it as well.
