From any screen, swipe up diagonally from either bottom corner to prompt the Google Assistant. This is different from Android Pie, where you had to press and hold the home button.
except if you have the audacity to use third party launchers as it seems Samsung refuses to apply the fix Google has already released to make the new gestures compatible!
