how to open side drawers without triggering the back gesture

If you swipe diagonally down then the side drawer will open and wont trigger back gesture. Takes a little getting used to but once you do it works everytime.

top 1/3 of the screen doesn't seem to trigger. that was hit or miss before I went back to OHO

You can also hold your finger on the edge of the screen, which causes the side drawer to "peek" out and you can then slide it without triggering a navigation gesture.
