**TRY THIS: NEWER EDGE LIGHTING ANIMATIONS NOT WORKING: **

 ***Check your DEVELOPER OPTIONS and make sure this is on; Animator Scale in some way (at least .5x). If set to "no animation," the new effects possibly will not work. 

I'm assuming the system treats them as animations & they are affected by the developer settings. 

 Go back and see if it works. If it does, please tag as the solution..I hope this helps , happy testing.

just leave animator duration scale at 1 then the animations will not be choppy. when you swipe through apps.
