Changing Miles to KM on Watch Faces

Hi. Anyone can assist me?  I have been trying to switch the walking distance on my Galaxy Watch 4 classic from miles to KM. It is very frustrating.

Samsung health on phone displays it in KM. Samsung health on WATCH displays it in KM. WHY Watchface displays it in miles is mind boggling.  there only 1 watch face that allows me to switch distance to KM, and that is the only one that can do that. all others has no settings and by default it is in Miles.

And it is not entirely in Imperial measurement. The weather is in Celsius! 

This is driving me nuts. Anyone can assist? 

I saw somewhere it is set by choosing language during setup. So i reset the watch and chose English (Canada) from previously chosen English (United Kingdom) since Canada uses metric system. seemed to make sense since the brit is between imperial and metric.. distance they use miles while temperature they use celsius. IT DIDNT WORK...

Distance on Watchface is in MilesBut distance on Samsung Health is in KM...

As I am aware, the measurement units are in your Google account.

On your phone, open Google maps. Tap on your profile icon. Select settings, scroll down to distance settings. Select miles or km. I hope it works. Cheers.

I think, it depends totally on watch face type you use.

You have to change the language setting on your main phone. Select English Language, but for countries other than the US or UK as these use Imperial measurements (miles, feet etc.). It worked for me. I use English -> Malaysia.
