How to Wash Your Watch Band?

I can see many different methods on Google. However, I'm also interested in knowing how you all wash your watch band to keep it looking new, and how often you wash your watch band? The popular method I found on Google is that they clean it using lukewarm water with dish soap.

My watch strap is black, so I don't wash it. Some users shared a tip to apply alcohol on a fabric before scrubbing it on the strap.

Yea, I also see some comments to apply alcohol, but it is not really easy to find in all the households haha
