Re-pairing galaxy watch after network reset

Can anyone clarify why each time after performing network setting reset on galaxy phone, it prompted to reset my galaxy watch and set up it again. Like why, it is so stupid.

the network connection on the watch is dependent on the device. modifying the network configuration on the device would trigger the watch as well
