I am having issues installing Samsung Internet browser after I reseted my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic due to some issues with the Notification not showing up on the watch. After resetting the watch, I am unable to install the Samsung Internet browser and it says that it is not compatible with SM-R890. Before I reseted the watch, I was still able to install the app a few months back. I tried searching the app from the watch but no results. Opened the Google Play Store on the on my PC to see that the app is not compatible with my watch. I have no issues with other apps that I have been using, its only the Samsung Internet Browser for wear os. I have reseted the device 4 times, twice with restore back up and twice without backup still having the same issue. Has the app been restricted by Samsung for the Watch 4 Classic? I have updated the watch to the latest firmware. Anyone facing this issue? Thank you in advance.
Update - noticed that the Google Assistant app is also no longer compatible with my watch. I am suspecting the latest firmware broke the compatibality.
Checked on my GW4C to confirm and indeed, Samsung internet browser is missing in Google play for watch. I had once installed it earlier but unistalled it after few days. For Google Assistant, I'm using it on my watch and so far, there's no issue whatsoever.
So it's not only me then. For Google Assistant, unless i restore from backup if not I will not be able to get it in the watch. The backup was not able to backup the Samsung Internet browser if not, it would have been restored as well.
