I successfully updated my Galaxy Note 9 with new Android 10 few days ago in India. I was very happy to have this update for my smartphone. But the moment my phone restarted after update, my nightmare started. Screen of my handset became pale yellow with fluctuating brightness. It was a big shock for me, as my handset was working perfectly superb till i updated my smartphone.
I have no idea which bug this update had but it ruined my mobile. When i contacted Customer Care i was asked to approach Service Center. Service Center asked me to pay Rs 17122, if i wanted my handset to work properly. Where am i at fault. Bug spoilt my smartphone and i downloaded it from my handset only. If Technical Team getting handsome salaries could not detect the bug in software, then why customer is asked to pay for no fault of his.
I NEED SUPPORT FROM SENIORS IN SAMSUNG. I have been using Note Series from Note 1 onwards and have kept Note 1 with me as i am emotionally attached with Galaxy series.
Now when my handset is not working after android 10 update, then why i should be asked to pay for the part and repair cost by Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, U.P , India Service Center.
Kindly get my handset repaired for free as nowhere i am at fault. Hope Billion dollar company will take care of my 20 yr old brand loyalty with goodwill in the brand.
It was okay until the update, but after the phone was turned off and on again, did the screen turn bright and turn yellow? Or have u ever seen yellow when it was updated?
Whether the data was used to update the software. I wonder if he used Wi-Fi. I don't think it's been updated normally. If U can't visit the service center, why don't u try to update it again through the download center from the Samsung Electronics service website?
