Dear Samsung, I’ve made a suggestions and improvement list for one ui 4 last year many times, and some of it made it to the final build which is great, this will be my first last suggestions list for One UI 5 and won’t be making anymore post, hoping these features would make it in the final build.
Couple of things suggested by users and fans worldwide, hoping these features would make it on the upcoming update.
*Fully transparent gesture navigation bar without overlapping on all apps and without using good lock.
*Prettier material design lock screen widgets for spotify,music player, youtube, notifications etc. Music slider on lock screen.
*Bigger default clock text size on lock screen.
*Immersive and faster animations for task switcher and lock screen (add more frames to the transition)( wherein when opening an app like the camera etc. the actual preview is shown and not just a black or blank image).
*Haptic with sounds on lockscreen buttons at the bottom for phone and camera when opening.
*Fix-Face unlock camera not focused upon set up. autofocus is blurry by default (thats why it's slow sometimes).
*Fix sensitivity of Lift to wake feature (make it more sensitive and faster).
*Bigger icons and buttons on Quick panel/ notification settings. for easier reach like for wifi button bluetooth button, volume button, and brightness slider and music player.
* Tap once to wake instead of douple tap to wake. (if aod is not on) much easier.
*Fix- Gesture navigation haptic feedback, make it only when opening app switcher not when exiting an app. its too redundant
**Fix- Bigger icons size on homescreen with 5×6 layout, without having to use screen zoom. for 20:9 ratio phones its more appropriate.
* Immersive Power button and raise to wake animation on lock screen.
*True to life Gaussian blur on the ui. ( Instead of just translucent light and dark blur).
*Volume button haptics.
* Adjust timing of adaptive refresh rate 120hz to 1 second instead of 3 seconds ( more battery life).
* AOD turns off when in pocket to save battery.
*Fix flat and monotonous looking icons. make it more colorful with shadows and gradient effect.
*Optimized shutter lag. Make the camera faster and efficient.
*Fix very soft front camera video quality on 60fps on s series.
*Bug in good lock clockface and lockstar when making clock text size the notifications overlap and too far from the original position please fix.
* Fix Dark mode wallpaper screen flash animation bug when going to homescreen.
*Adjust microphone gain/volume for zoom in mic for galaxy s series .Its weaker because it has no hole.
*Faster camera opening and fast shutter speed and processing
