SMC 행사에 참여하며 갤럭시 Z플립7로 찍은 사진을
AI로 인생샷을 만드려고 합니다.
Samsung Members Connect 행사에 초대받아 참석했습니다.
저녁식사를 위해 배를 타고 가면서
자유의 여신상을 관광하는 시간이 있었는데요
배 위에서 갤럭시 Z 플립7으로 프로 버전으로
자유의 여신상 사진을 찍었습니다.
포토 어시스트 스케치 변환 기능을 이용하여
하늘에 열기구를 그려봤습니다.
기본 스케치만으로도 열기구의 형태가 자연스럽게 완성되었고
이후 생성형 편집 기능을 통해
열기구의 위치를 조정하고
크기를 키워 하늘 위를 떠다니는 듯한 장면으로 완성했습니다.
🗽Statue of Liberty – Cruise Experience with Galaxy Z Flip7
I was invited to attend the Samsung Members Connect event. As part of the evening schedule, we enjoyed a dinner cruise that offered a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty.
While on the boat, I used the Galaxy Z Flip7 Pro mode to capture a stunning photo of the Statue of Liberty.
I used the Photo Assist Sketch to Image feature to draw a hot air balloon in the sky.
Even with a simple sketch, the shape of the balloon was completed naturally and realistically.
Using Generative Edit, I adjusted the size and position of the balloon, creating a lively scene as if it were actu
ally floating across the sky.

빛 반사 지우기
빛 반사 지우기
AI를 이용해 빛 반사를 제거하는 보정을 했습니다.
자동으로 반사된 빛을 없애주어 오른쪽의 빛 바랜 부분이 사라지고 사진이 훨씬 선명해졌죠.
렌즈플레이어 삭제
렌즈 플레어란 카메라 렌즈 내부에서 빛이 반사되어 원치 않는 밝은 점이나 광선 형태로 나타나는 현상을 말하는데
이런 현상도 포토샵 없이 AI가 자동으로 인식해서 지워주니 정말 편리했습니다.
노을이 지면서 광선 형태로 나타낸 빛을 자동으로 지워진 것을 확인 할 수 있습니다.
또한 생성형 편집 기능을 활용해
사진 주변의 불필요한 요소들을 깔끔하게 지웠더니
창밖으로 바다가 보이는 듯한 느낌으로 완성되었습니다.

🌇 Sunset Reflections & AI Photo Enhancements
During the event, I captured a photo of a window reflecting the words “Samsung Members Connect” during sunset.
Using AI photo editing tools, I applied the Reflection Removal feature, which automatically eliminated unwanted glare.
You can clearly see the difference—the faded light on the right side disappeared, making the image noticeably sharper.
I also used the Lens Flare Removal tool.
Lens flare typically occurs when light reflects inside the camera lens, resulting in unwanted bright spots or streaks.
With AI, the tool automatically identified and removed these without needing any manual Photoshop work.
The glowing rays from the sunset were automatically cleaned up, leaving a clearer and more refined image.
Then, I used Generative Edit to remove unnecessary elements from the surroundings.
This gave the photo a refreshed look, as if I were looking out the window at a peaceful sea view.
With the AI photo editing feature on the Galaxy Z Flip7, the photo details included labels like “AI-generated content” and “Photo Assist”, clearly indicating that the image was edited using AI.

뉴욕 센트럴 파크
뉴욕 센트럴파크에선 습기가 약간 있었지만, 사람들이 풀밭에 누워 쉬는 모습이 인상적이었고,
거북이와 새, 심지어 말도 볼 수 있었습니다.
강가에서는 펜으로 간단한 스케치를 하고
강 위에 새가 앉아 있는 모습과
물고기가 튀어 오르는 장면을 그렸어요
사실 처음엔 용을 그렸는데..
스케치 변환으로 사자상으로 만들어졌어요
마치 다리 위에 사자상이 놓인 듯한 모습으로 완성됐습니다.
물에 비치는 조형물 표현까지 !
🌳 Exploring Central Park
At Central Park, the weather was slightly humid, but it was lovely to see people simply lying on the grass and relaxing.
I spotted turtles, birds, and even horses, adding to the park’s charm.
By using a pen tool, I sketched a few simple objects—such as a bird perched on the river, and a fish leaping out of the water.
Originally, I attempted to draw a dragon, but the sketch ended up looking more like a lion.
Through the Sketch to Image function, the result was transformed into a statue-like lion, making it seem as if a lion sculpture was placed on the bridge. It was a fun and unexpected result.
Even the expression of sculptures reflected in the water!

그랜드 센트럴 터미널은
2020년 BTS ‘On’ 촬영지로 유명한데
세계에서 가장 큰 터미널 중
하나로 44개 승강장과 67개 선로를 갖추고 있습니다.
미네르바, 헤라클레스
조각상과 12궁도를 묘사한 청록색 천장, 금박 장식
그랜드 센트럴 터미널의 대표적인 볼거리라고 합니다.
Z폴드 7 AI 사진 편집 기능을 활용하여
상단에 조명을 하나 추가해보았는데,
스케치 변환 기능이 주변 환경을
인식해 자연스럽게 샹들리에 형태로 완성해줬습니다.
또한 빈 플랫폼 위에는
스케치 변환 기능을 사용해 철도 위에 기차를 그려 넣었어요.
기차 역시 주변 분위기와 어울리도록 자연스럽게 표현되었습니다.
🚉 Grand Central Terminal
– With a Creative Twist
Grand Central Terminal is one of the world’s largest train stations and was featured in BTS's "ON" music video in 2020.
It has 44 platforms and 67 tracks. The turquoise ceiling adorned with gold leaf, along with statues of Minerva, Hercules, and the 12 zodiac signs, are signature highlights of the station.
Using the AI photo editing features on the Galaxy Z Fold7, I added a light fixture to the ceiling.
The Sketch to Image function recognized the surrounding environment and naturally transformed the sketch into a realistic chandelier.
Then, I used the same tool to draw a train on the empty platform.
The result blended seamlessly with the environment, making the scene appear lively and realistic.
월가의 상징인 돌진하는 황소상
월가와 금융지구를 상징하며 매일 수천 명 사람들이 찾는 인기 관광명소 중 하나인 돌진하는 황소를 보러 갔는데요
1987년 주가 폭락 이후 투자자를
위로하기 위해 세워진 청동 조각상으로
무게는 3,200kg에 높이 3.4m, 길이 4.9m에 달합니다.
사람들은 황소 뿔이나 특정 부위를 만지면 부자가 된다는 이야기가 있더라구요 그래서 그런지
사진을 찍으려는 사람들이 많았습니다.
관광지에서는 종종 다른 사람이 찍히지 않은 사진을 원할 때가 있는데
이럴 때 생성형 편집을 활용한
AI 지우개로 사람들을 열심히 지워줍니다.
한꺼번에 선택이 어려울 때는
일괄 선택 기능을 써서 비슷한 사물을 같이 인식시킨 후
사진을 확대해 사람만 선택적으로 지우고 나머지는 한 번에 칠하니
마치 황소상만 있는 사진처럼 완성할 수 있었습니다.
🐂 Charging Bull at Wall Street – AI-Powered Cleanup
I also visited the famous Charging Bull statue, a landmark of Wall Street and the Financial District.
Built after the 1987 stock market crash to symbolize strength and optimism, the bronze statue weighs 3,200 kg, and measures 3.4 meters high and 4.9 meters long.
There’s a popular belief that touching the bull’s horns or certain parts brings good fortune, which explains the long line of people waiting to take photos.
In crowded tourist spots like this, it’s often hard to get a clean shot without other people.
That’s when Generative Edit’s AI Eraser tool came in handy.
When selecting people one by one was tricky, I used the Batch Selection feature to automatically detect similar elements.
By zooming in to remove just the people and using the brush tool to clean the rest, I was able to make it look like the bull statue was standing alone—as if I had the place to myself.
One small improvement I hope to see in the future is a partial undo option in generative editing—it would make fine-tuning even easier!
행사 참여 소감
이번에 SMC 행사에 초대받아 처음으로 뉴욕에 다녀왔어요
그동안 영상으로만 보던 언팩 발표를 직접 현장에서 볼 수 있어서 정말 신기하고 특별한 경험이었답니다.
갤럭시 Z 플립7으로 사진도 찍고 영상을 남기며 관광지도 다녔는데, 너무 즐거운 시간이었어요!
발표가 끝나자마자 체험존으로 이동해서
갤럭시 Z 플립7, 폴드7, 워치8을 직접 사용해봤어요.
신제품의 다양한 기능을 현장에서 바로 체험할 수 있었고 전 세계에서 모인 사람들과 함께 갤럭시에 대한 관심과 열기를 느낄 수 있었습니다.
브로드웨이에 있는 갤럭시 스튜디오에서는 갤럭시 폰을 활용해 벽화처럼 그림을 그리는 체험도 했는데 디지털임에도 실제 벽에 그리는 듯한 질감이 정말 신기했어요
갤럭시 Z 플립7의
2억 화소 카메라로 찍은 자개장 사진은
아무리 확대해도 디테일이 살아있고
전혀 깨지지 않는 점이 인상적이었답니다.
무엇보다 사진이나 영상으로만 보던
자유의 여신상을 실제로 눈앞에서 보니 정말 감동적이었고
평생 잊지 못할 경험이 될 것 같아요.
이번 SMC 행사는 뉴욕이라는 멋진 도시에서
새로운 기술과 문화를 직접 경험할
수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

현장에서 고생 많으셨던 담당자님께 진심으로 감사드립니다.
I was invited to the SMC event and visited New York for the first time.
It was truly an amazing and special experience to watch the Unpacked event live, something I had only seen in videos before.
I also had a great time exploring the city, taking photos and videos with the Galaxy Z Flip7!
Right after the presentation, I headed to the experience zone and got to try out the Galaxy Z Flip7, Fold7, and Watch8 in person.
I was able to experience the new features firsthand and felt the global excitement and passion for Galaxy from people all around the world.
At the Galaxy Studio on Broadway, I tried an activity where you use a Galaxy phone to create mural-like digital drawings.
Even though it was digital, the texture felt so real, as if I was actually painting on a wall—really fascinating!
One moment that still stands out is a photo I took of a mother-of-pearl cabinet with the Galaxy Z Flip7’s 200MP camera.
No matter how much I zoomed in, the details remained sharp and clear—truly impressive.
But above all, seeing the Statue of Liberty in person, after only ever seeing it through photos and videos, was incredibly moving.
I think it’s an experience I’ll never forget.
The SMC event was a meaningful opportunity to experience new technology and culture firsthand in the amazing city of New York.
I sincerely thank all the organizers who prepared such a wonderful schedule and everyone who worked hard on site.
