기타Hello, community.
I have a technical question. I've been using the Galaxy A52s for the past few days to test virtual machines with Qemu. I was already expecting slow performance due to the emulation and the processor being a bit "old". However, the performance is terribly bad because it is a software emulation. There is a solution to improve this, the implementation of pKVM, but unfortunately Samsung has not enabled pKVM on the A52s or on Android 13 or 14.
pKVM allows a guest OS to take advantage of hardware acceleration and this is reflected in the usability of the virtual machine. I don't expect pKVM to increase performance too much, but the browsing experience in the guest OS will be more usable.

I know that the A52s 5G (A528B) is already in the last months of support, but if possible, enable pKVM in the A52s Kernel in a future update. The ideal would be to launch pKVM from the A5x line, as the processors already support a better workload.
Update team, please consider enabling pKVM on A52s and latest A5x series devices. Release it, maybe already available, also for latest S and S FE models (Snapdragon 8 Elite probably supports ARM64 workload with excellent performance).
