Cheating in Contests - Lights Camera Capture

One of the users violated terms and conditions of the competition and they still got the prize. This is terrible. The terms and conditions clearly stated that one 1 user get only one 1 entry. I have added 3 images but they had 18 entries and they won. This is very unfortunate. But if I am wrong please correct me.

It sort of matters but in the end they still probably only selected one of the photos, is it right and should it have been allowed? No, but was it likely just one photo and one only that made it into them winning? most probable.

Hi @nrnp, thank you for raising this with us, I understand your frustration with the rules. As 'Lights Camera Capture' was our first contest, we did experience some glitches which allowed multiple entries and decided to leave the contest up rather than delete everyone's entries to try create it again. 

The glitch appears to have been resolved for our 'Up Close' contest, however we have still raised it internally to be investigated further. 

As for selection criteria, this contest is a game of skill! This means that the winners are picked by a panel of judges who pick the best entries based on its merit. The judges select winning photos by considering creativity, composition, relevance to the theme of the contest. Additionally, the judges will also take note of which entries are most liked and/or commented on by the Community.

I completely understand the understand the merit point but what it does is give someone an unfair advantage. Doesn't matter if judges pick the best one. It's just unfair to other people entering the contests because they thought they only get 1 entry. They could have tried adding more pictures and even though not likely but could have won the contest. Like the person who won the contest almost won it on one of their last pictures. If other people would have known about this exploit they would have done the same.

Hey @nrnp, they mentioned it was the first contest, and like anything done in pilot or a first run, there is bound to be glitches and like mentioned it was fixed for the second contest. I mean come on, you entered 3 times, which mean you too violates the same terms and conditions your complaining about. The winners were based not on the amount of entries but on skill. They have plenty of activities happening.. your bound to hit a jackpot

I didn't enter 3 times check your facts mate. If you think I have show me a proof. Don't just point allegations and I don't know why are you defending someone else.
