Hi, I have just received a new A32. No problems setting it up but I am disappointed with the image quality and colours using the front camera. Skin tones are bland and washed out. The colors seem wrong and there is a lot of noise in the images. I know the front camera is not the best one but comparing with a previous A6 the images from that older camera were better looking, the colours are much more lifelike. I have cleaned the lens area.

I am not sure if this is a fault with my device or a settings issue. I have checked all filters and have tried resetting the camera settings to the default with no improvements. I have found advice online about setting the screen mode to 'vivid' and adjusting the white balance but I do not find the option for Screen Mode in the display setting as described on the samsung support pages.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-change-the-screen-mode-or-adjust-the-displa...

Is there some reason why my device doesn't have this option? Or is there any advice to help me fix this issue? If it's possible the device is faulty then I will need to send it back quickly.

Many thanks for any help

Mark

Adjusting screenmode does not affect photo quality it is mainly for your eyes preference that maintain screen display colors what you see on amoled screens are not that accurate(either saturated). As for those noises that is evidently there try transfering photos you've taken on other device and see the difference. Perhaps a sofware update might help enhance the quality regularly update your device when available
