Battery suddenly drains very fast.

Hello there. I have a Samsung Galaxy A21s that I have been using for several years. It is an amazing phone for me. However lately my phone has been heating, specifically on the top part near front camera. And then my battery life went from a good 28 hours to just 10 hours in such a short time! I don't know what happened.

It's the processor that been heating cos usually processor are placed at the top side of the phone. Might want to check if theres any background apps running in your phone.

There are a few possibilities:

- Degrading battery (wear and tear);

- Apps that are less optimised (especially apps that constantly pull data in the background);

- Possible unknown bugs/apps that take up system resources (similar to trojans on a PC);

A clean backup and reset should do the trick, otherwise you'll need to get it looked at by an authorised service personnel.
