Any app made by Google for Android ever since Android 12 is launched has this new theming system called Material You. This is the new theming system that Android 12 and newer users get to customize many aspects of their phone's user interface including the accent color. When One UI 4.0 got released, Samsung users also get to experience this Material You-like theming system called Color Palette. Starting on One UI 6.0 even up to now in One UI 6.1.1, Samsung users including myself are currently facing issues on incorrect or improper accent colors displayed on all Google apps.

Example:
When I set my Color Palette to let's say Green, the Color Palette successfully applies only to apps made by Samsung and to some third-party apps that uses Samsung's own theming system introduced on One UI 4.0.

But when I open any Google app such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Chat, Google Photos, etc. (except for YouTube and it's sister apps) or the Google Account page on the Settings app, the colors being displayed are either inconsistent, incorrect, or both (sometimes the accent colors for those Google apps bug out) as those apps and pages uses the Material You theming system for their user interfaces. Like this one time when I open Google Chat and Google Photos, for some reason they received a red Material You-like accent color and tint. There are other Google Apps that stayed blue like have a blue accent color and tint. There are also other Google apps and pages (accessible via the Settings app or by tapping on the user's Google account) where the colors appear incorrect (buggy) and inconsistent where the tint color is red but accent color is blue on one place and the red again on the other.

I hope this theming system issue/bug on One UI when handling apps that uses the Material You theming system such as literally all Google apps and services would finally get fixed once and for all on the next major One UI release or if possible on the next "dot" update for One UI 6.x.x.

i'm using app called ColorBlendr. This requires rooting the device or using a more limited version with Shizuku. I have not tried rooting my phone. I have used ColorBlendr with Shizuku and it worked okay.

Samsung seems to be doing something wrong. The material library is using no/wrong colours.

You can try setting the contrast in the development settings to medium and then back to default.

If this turns your colours pink/brown, turn Dynamic Colours off and on again. You are now back to the default blue colours in Google Apps.

Maybe for a mighty Samsung dev:

Can't send a GitHub link but it's the 3924th issue on the material-components-android library.

(For the record. It hasn't worked for me since OneUI 6.0, and still doesn't work in OneUI 6.1).
