Hi, everytime I log in to my device before, whether Google or Facebook, I used to receive notifications that say "Did you just log in to Samsung Galaxy A12s" etc. Now it's different and it's bugging me. I don't know if it's because of the update but my notifications now say "Did you just log in to Samsung Galaxy A12 (India)". How do I change this and how can I be assured this is not a case of safety and privacy breach?

You may need to check you account logins both on Google Account and your Facebook account.

You need to check login locations are aligned to where you are, and the device you're using is correct

I turn my location off most of the time, otherwise really necessary. Does it contribute to the change? Also, last time I checked, my accounts are secured. I'm considering logging out of all devices though just to make sure.

Not really, as sometimes, these logins get our location based from our IP address when we login. They might not be precise locations though. But it should not be from a different country

If your accounts are secured as you've said, then no issues of course. Just weird to have "(India)" appended to your device name

Logging out from all devices does add a bit of security on your side I agree, if you have the time to spare

Yeah, I find it very weird too. I check the time of my log in and the notif that has the "(India)" part on it and they match.

Also, I open my husband's Google and Facebook on my phone from time to time. He's in the US rn and he also received the notif with the "(India)" in it but recently it changed to "(my country)".

Thank you so much for your replies by the way. I appreciate it a lot!
