Charging Port trouble

i am using the galaxy A71 and after a few months, i am experiencing the following issues

a. when charging, i need to wait at least 2-3 minutes after connecting the cable before it will start to charge;

b. the fast charging capacity has depleted, it takes longer time before the phone gets up to 100%; and c. the charging port no longer detects my usb type-c flashdrive.

what to do? do i need to bring it to the service center?

any life hack?

Why not? Service center can help you fix that issues on your phone.

service centers are far from my area 😢 and there are travel restrictions. so i am looking if there are other possibility that can help me solve the problem aside from bringing it to SC's

have tou tried basic trouble shooting like restarting your device or factory reset

yes, but to no avail. i even updated the software to the latest version. i have done all trouble shooting tips from the CS that i contacted

chances are the issue was caused by the update. you may really need to go to a service center

save the any of your important data before you reset or restarting.then reset wait for few minutes.make sure youre fully charge b 4 starting..

there was an update pushed earlier. i got it on my device. says, it fixes charging and stability. try updating
