I'm listing here the issues I'm having on my Samsung Galaxy A53 after I updated to OneUI 8.0, that I'm not having when my phone was still in OneUI 7.0

1. RANDOM SYSTEM CRASHES
I believe this is the most annoying problem that I have right now. I had multiple system crashes after I updated my phone and this is not good. Before my phone complete crashed down for 5 to 10 minutes, the following are signs in which I'll know my phone will just have some episodes🤣

- My phone won't be able to connect to different wireless connection. Even if you turn off the Wi-Fi and go to a location that your phone should technically won't be able to detect your Wi-Fi router signal, it will just magically connect to your router with no internet🤣
- Gestures are disabled. If you try to do one, it will tell you that you need to unlock your phone first to enable something...even though it is already unlocked😅
- Fingerprint / Biometrics is disabled. The only option to unlock your phone is via pin/code/pattern.
- opening apps will crash immediately

After a while, once you turn off the screen, you won't be able to open it for 5 to 10 minutes and you'll need to wait for it to restart. After you restart the phone and open Samsung Members, you'll be greeted by the crash logs just like below -- which I've had few moments before posting this🤣

I'm definitely lost on how to fix this🤣

2. SYSTEM UI CRASHES IMMEDIATELY AFTER RESTARTING MY PHONE
I definitely experienced this on OneUI 7.0, but not so often in OneUI 8.0🤣 I experience this always when I restarted my phone while being plugged in. Even though i just need to wait for few second before the system recovers, it's still annoying🤣

3. MY PHONE SUDDENLY CAN'T READ ANY SIMCARDS ANYMORE
Few days after updating to OneUI 8.0, my network suddenly went dead... it's just no signal or emergency calls only. I thought it was because of my simcard, but it's working on another phone. I also bought new sim card, but still the same😅

However, my phone can still recognize my sim card in Settings (just like the image below)

But still no signal😅

Recently, I've discovered that if you enabledcall and text on another devices, I can now magically call but still no mobile data or messaging😅

Are you also experiencing these issues? Can someone help?🤣

PS. Before posting, I've already did all troubleshooting that I know to resetting this phone to factory default😅 but still no good🤣

Oh no, but why does updating your phone to One UI 8 caused this problem unlike One UI 7?

I'm not sure actually 😅 I was hoping that the latest security patch would fix this, but apparently it didn't 😅

You should have checked other experiences of your fellow A53 users updating to One UI 8 before updating yours.

I've read some articles that the sim card issue is related with fried motherboard, but I'm not sure if I should trust those or not hahahaha

See, this why I dislike exynos sometimes. Sure they have raw power but they will fail in optimizations. I expected that their exynos will be more optimized but I guess not, I will just get a samsung galaxy phone that has either mediatek or snapdragon chip but most preferably the snapdragon chip since they are easy to be optimized.

I think phones with Snapdragon chip are not being sold globally 😅

Yes, but still way better than exynos, mediatek is decent though. So for me Snapdragon and Mediatek are only thing that matters to me when I buy a samsung.
