double tap screen on not working

To enable and or disable these features, go to Settings > Advance Features > Enable Double tap to turn On/Off screen.

Try temporarily disabling ‘Accidental touch protection’ by going to Settings > Display > Accidental touch protection. Then, check if ‘Double tap to wake’ works. You could also try enabling the ‘Touch sensitivity' setting if you’re using a screen protector.
