I have a problem with usb on the go.

I've connected my external hard disk using usb c on the go cable which is 3.0. Unluckily my external drive is not detected.

FYI, I already turn on usb debugging and usb teetherimg on default usb configuration on developer option.

Please help anyone. Tqvm.

I think you have a A51, Galaxy A51 only support USB 2.0 so 3.0 wont work at all

@KHTan, I try to connect my mini pendrive, it work.

That's mean, 3.0 is compatible with A51.

Thus this mean, only small capacity external drive accessible by A51? Any way that I can check this things out?

3.0 is a new technology and is extremely unstable, my N10 Lite can access a 256gb 2.0 portable SSD means it can handle huge storage

Means there might be a second possibility, the drive you bought might require extra driver files that only could be run on Windows/Macos
