Galaxy A50 Purple Screen of Death

This morning I installed the August 2021 software update for my Galaxy A50 and about an hour after, a purple patch began growing at the southeast corner of the screen. If you Google "Purple Screen of Death," you will notice that this phenomenon is especially common among Samsung smartphones.

This is how it looks this evening.

I never thought I would experience Purple Screen of Death myself. I guess this is goodbye for my Galaxy A50 which I have had with me for 27 months. I will now just use it as our Wi-Fi hotspot since Gomo unli data promos are more sulit than prepaid home Wi-Fi promos.
